Traffic sewer set
for a makeover
The traffic sewer of St Kilda Junction is set for a makeover if the participants in our student competition have anything to say about it.
Our students are off and running in the Re:imagine the Junction competition – a collaboration between ARUP and David Lock Associates.
Making a mark

The Power of Delivery – new
planning bodies in NSW and Vic
The Premier of NSW, Mike Baird, has announced plans for a new planning body in Sydney to streamline the delivery of major government infrastructure and planning projects. The Greater Sydney Commission (GSC) will be charged with delivery on government priorities such as implementing the Sydney Metro Strategy, developing sub-regional plans and acting as a chief government advisor.

New zones affecting housing
diversity and affordability
David Lock Associates has joined with a group of industry professionals to make a submission to the Residential Zones Standing Advisory Committee set up by the Victorian government.
Issues related to the proposed application of the proposed zones by many councils were highlighted in a letter from 35 industry professionals featured in The Age.

the VPELA 25th birthday
In what is becoming one of the highlights on the annual planning calendar in Melbourne, the David Lock Associates' team was well represented at the VPELA gala dinner.

New statutory planner
joins David Lock Associates
Statutory Planner Nick Roebuck has joined David Lock Associates' Melbourne office.
Nick comes to David Lock with some excellent experience in Regional Victoria and in Singapore and Sri Lanka through a variety of student placements, including with SAMWOO Engineering in Singapore.
