DLA submit Planning Proposal for Wentworth Point
David Lock Associates has recently submitted a Planning Proposal for land at Wentworth Point, located to the west of Homebush Bay, Sydney.
The Proposal seeks to amend planning controls established in the Homebush Bay West Development Control Plan (DCP) to increase the permitted amount of development by 120,000m2 as well as the height of buildings up to 25 storeys. The changes are in consideration of a $40 million developer funded pedestrian, cycle and public transport bridge linking Wentworth Point to Rhodes. The Proposal has been accepted for exhibition and was accompanied by an Urban Design Review prepared by DLA as well a Transport Management and Accessibility Plan (TMAP) and Voluntary Planning Agreement (VPA) prepared under our direction.
